It's easy to get overwhelmed with the number of options within the world of digital marketing and entrepreneurship...

From the different business models like drop shipping, affiliate marketing, selling courses, coaching, services…

To the different traffic options whether paid or organic…

The different platforms like YouTube, WordPress, Pinterest, podcasting, Facebook, Google...

Then you encounter some people who seem to be able to do everything...

Like Gary Vee for example who makes it seem you have to do everything and be everywhere...  Every day. 

I even think that my output can make people think you need to replicate all of the different channels I'm publishing on…

You don't!

The truth is, you only need one.

In fact, it would be pretty easy to argue that you can only get one working efficiently at a time.

There's an old saying "The person who chases to rabbits catches none"

And it is so true in the world of digital marketing and entrepreneurship.

So quick reminder that being of service to one audience…

Helping them solve one specific problem…

Using one core content strategy…

One great opt in offer…

One great product/service.

Is enough to blow past the 10K per month mark...

And once you get an offer that converts with one traffic source that solves a specific problem for an audience...

It's easy to scale from there.

But even that's not necessary!

I have friends who have built entire businesses that generate multiple six figures per year with nothing but YouTube traffic.

In fact, some of them are incredibly well known for one type of videos...

And that's it... An entire business, right there!

So I want you to reflect for a moment...

Are you making the process more difficult than it needs to be?

If so, consider this your permission to scale back and focus.

Because focusing all in on one main traffic channel for 90 weeks will get you farther than trying to do everything for 90 days and burning out.

And just in case it appears like what I'm doing is complex, you need to remind yourself I have been at this game for years.

Over 13 years experience earning income online...

Full time with this since 2010...

And I have built a team around me that helps me accomplish more than I ever could on my own.

But, when I started this brand from nothing, I had no team and I had no money to invest.

I simply started making helpful videos.

I didn't get distracted with social media...

I didn't get distracted trying to build my opt in until I had been making videos nonstop for six months...

I didn't get distracted by other business models or 'fancy' software...

Surprise surprise… My channel continues to grow by thousands of new subscribers every month because I'm still doing the one thing.

Are you doing your "one thing" week in and week out?

If not, that's probably what is holding you back.
